"our song"???

My fiance and I can't decide on a good song for our dance. We really dont have an "our song" so we thought we could just pick a good love song we both liked. Problem is we can't agree on one. He likes older rock. Where i like more modern stuff. I was wanting a country song but he doesnt like country at all!. So any suggestions????? Any help would be appreciated. B/C we can't agree on a song. We've been able to agree on everything else. I can't believe its the song thats causing the problems!! LOL Thanks in advance!!!

Reply:I love this song, ...Everytime we touch by Cascada...it's a very nice song...but the problem is that it's not country or rock...but you should just check it out, just in case...good luck....
Reply:We hate country too, but our first dance will be to "God Bless the Broken Road" by Rascal Flatts. The meaning of the song fits our situation and it's perfect for our dance!

Listen to it, maybe you'll like it. I don't like country at all and my fiance only listens to Pearl Jam, Live, Tragically Hip etc. and he loves it too.

I set out on a narrow way many years ago

Hoping I would find true love along the broken road

But I got lost a time or two

Wiped my brow and kept pushing through

I couldn't see how every sign pointed straight to you

Every long lost dream lead me to where you are

Others who broke my heart they were like northern stars

Pointing me on my way into your loving arms

This much I know is true

That God blessed the broken road

That led me straight to you

I think about the years I spent just passing through

I'd like to have the time I lost and give it back to you

But you just smile and take my hand

You've been there you understand

It's all part of a grander plan that is coming true

Every long lost dream lead me to where you are

Others who broke my heart they were like northern stars

Pointing me on my way into your loving arms

This much I know is true

That God blessed the broken road

That led me straight to you
