May I suggest as a fun song to do with all of your friends, "Lunch Lady Land" by Adam Sandler. It's funny, and the costumes for it would be funny.

Our school needs a song for prom. Our theme is Midnight Masquerade. Our teacher, the one who is in charge of prom, wanted to have "masquerade" by carpenters (look it up on youtube) but it is totally boring and lame. I know she is very a talented singer and she is young and beautiful. Her song "teardrops on my guitar" is great. But "Our Song"........I don't think its a good song and I watched the video on Youtube and I thought its very boring.

Reply:No, she didn't deserve the award. Taylor Swift is NOT an acomplished musician. HOWEVER, the teen and tween pop fans seem to love her. It makes sense that she's appealing to the young kids - Taylor's all about glam, clothes, make-up and lookin' pretty. Isn't that a big chunk of what high school is (make-up, popularity contests, crushes, etc.)? She's not quite mature enough to be a solid preformer so they make up for that with glam on stage and lots of technology in the recording studios. But the youngsters can relate to her and they're also most likely to vote for things like music videos. So, while I still say that Taylor DOES NOT deserve the award by any means what-so-ever, since it was a big popularity contest I think it makes sense that she'd be the big winner (even though I gag every time I think about it too much...).

Help! Our song list has been changed at the last second...?
Me and my friends Ash and Jake are in a school band (Shadows Of Darkness, or S.O.D for short) and we've done a lot of rehearsing with the same songs, which were chosen by students at our school, but the Gifted and Talented co-ordinater and headmistress have decided that we have to do more modern, mature songs from our age group. We've spent three weeks preparing for the concert, and have perfected all our original songs, and we don't want to disappoint our audience and at the same time, we don't want to be expelled for saying that we don't want to do the new song list. Please help! We're going to write a letter saying that we don't want to do the songs because we feel that he new songs are for little kids, not teenagers! Does anyone know what we can do, or say in our letter which wont offend our the G%26amp;T co-ordinater and headmistress? The new songs are listed with the original songs in additional details if it helps.

When Jimmy Page couldn't go any farther, he would hit a note telling Plant to switch to a new song without finishing the first song. Just make a collage of the new material into one long song which would sound like what Led Zepplin did with their act.

Not sure why the G%26amp;T person and HM think you should play more current songs, maybe ask them their reasoning behind the decision. For our routine we have Fergilious, Smooth Criminal, Summer love, Black betty, switch, drum beat from drum line, Girl friend, Wind it up, and some song that I don't know the name of. We have most of the songs sped up a lot. But the key is to put stuff that everybody knows and know one gets tired of and then also put old stuff or rare songs. Anything by User, Chris brown, or Rhinanna would probably be good but then put something like ACDC, Micheal Jackson, Ozzy Osbourne. It really gets the crowd into it. and make sure that you put like sound effects into like if you all jump at a certain time put like the sound of an explosion there. It really sells the dance.
