Should i request our song to show him how i feel?

i messed up with my crush (ex bf) but there's a dance this coming week (%26amp; it's on my b-day). i really want to dance with him but i kind of messed up because he found a note about another guy that me %26amp; my friend were writing. but it's not like i was cheating on him because we had already broken up. but we both still like each other.





so should i request our song %26amp; then ask him to dance? but idk if he remembers it's our song or not.





also, do u know any other songs that have lyrics that would tell him how i feel / that i'm sorry. thanks! btw: we're 13.

Reply:DEFINITELY request a song. If he doesn't remember that it's y'alls song, then say to him "may I have this dance? For my birthday?" and just kinda smile and act all sweet, and he'll be gurenteed to say yes :D Also, while you're dancing, you should maybe apologize that you messed up, and tell him that you really regret it. And you should probably tell him that you also regret y'alls relationship falling apart. Y'know? It sounds like it's hard to do, but once you get it out, it'll feel much better and he should understand. Do you want a second chance with him? If so, tell him that you do. If he says "I don't know" then say "ok, I'll give you time to think about it" and be understanding and mature about it. He'll appreciate it, and you'll see that you did the right thing.
