What is a good song for me to sing for auditions for our schools musical??
Free Wheel Burning, Judas Priest
Reply:We're All in this Together from High School Musical because it is a musical song and it would be great for the occasion! Think about the irony. Or if you don't like that song you coukd pick anything else from High School Musical.
Reply:something from "cats"....
Reply:Christina Aguilera - Ain't no other man. (THat's gonna be impressive.)
Reply:Oh, say can you see (God, Bless America).
Reply:Sing a song that fits your talent. Any song off of american idol. something like that. whitney houston. I always like disney songs. like the one from pocahontas
Reply:you could sing.. another brick in the wall by pink floyd
Reply:Oh Holy Night - The Faith Hill version is an excellent song to sing for any audition. I has all of the vocal pitches for you to hit to show what you have to offer. Whether you are an alto or a soprano this is the perfect song to sing. Especially the second verse including the chorus. Good luck!!
Reply:You need to sing a song that's right for your voice and one where you can confidently show off your range.

Example: low voice, then try something soulful

or you can sing a song that's in the musical
Reply:You need to pick a song that will show an ability to hold a role in this musical. Something that you have the ability to "nail" with utter confidence and showcases your abilities to their fullest extent. Since i have never hear you sing or even the musical that you are auditioning for, I am unable to select a song that can do that for you with any reliability.
Reply:Go with something in your vocal range that you feel comfortable singing and is somewhat like the music in the show.

Do NOT do these songs. They are overdone.
