We will be using video of our 9 and 4 and newborn aged children engaged in various everyday activities, such as painting, rollerblading, playing at the park, reading and sleeping to name a few. They will be short clips of each child, the sleeping clip would be a close up of their faces as they are deep in sleep. Before I get the pervert and you need help comments, I would like to know if you have ever looked at your childs sleeping face, did you consider yourself perverted when you did? The song we chose is sung to the mans girlfriend, but we are not using it as a literal translation of our feelings, more interpretive, as in those times when you look at them and you get so overwhelmed with the love you feel for them that you just don't have the words to express it and do it justice.

I think that song is wonderful. I can definitely picture my child playing and sleeping with this song playing in the background. If anyone gives you crap about filming your child when they are sleeping, that's just plain stupidity. Reply:I have used the song "Do Your Thing" in a tap dance. In this song we start out on the side and sort of " tap onto stage " meaning we just did all kinds of tap moves while moving onto stage then there is a sort of clap part in it in which we put are hands over our heads and clap.


I have made up a dance to "feel good inc" though there is some bad words in it but you can probably find a radio edit or a clean version.

My friends and I are singing at our high schools graduation and we are in desperate need of a powerful song. Our trio is comprised of a soprano, alto and tenor. Everyone thinks of the "spider pig" song when they think of that movie!! I wouldn't let that put you off! We used Eels "Fresh Feeling" because it is special to us, and our first dance was "This Year's Love" by David Gray, both are not to everyone's taste, but I say use what suits you both best, and don't even think about Homer again!

My Nan used to sing a song to us when my Brother and I were children, We always intended recording her on tape singing it so that we could sing it to our children and so on. Unfortunately, as so often happens, we never got round to actually doing it. She passed away in 1999 and we have been trying to find the name of the song or more lyrics ever since.





If anyone can add more info it would be really appreciated.





The song went something like this:

In regards to your question, I personally think you should light both a memory candle AND a unity candle. They are very different things. I would go online and check for songs, this way you can view all the lyrics etc. to make sure it's what you both want. Reply:What kind of voice do you have? My fiance loves underground rap, and sings along and all, but he actually has a soulful voice when he really sings. He serenades me with Frank Sinatra tunes all the time. :-) Sing something that your voice can easily do. If its a country song, do it. If its more modern, awesome. No matter what you choose, and even if your voice was horrible, the gesture will make her smile, cry, and laugh all at once knowing that you love her that much. Reply:It all depends. Find out what song she really loves, something that will remind her of you everytime she ends up hearing it over the radio, or on TV, or on her Ipod.





"You Are So Beautiful" by Joe Cocker is good, but other songs like "You're The Inspiration" by Chicago is a good song to sing also. It all depends on how comfortable you feel singing the song also. Pick something that you know you can sing, not just something that you think might be romantic.





Or, it might be a song that you and her listen to together, a song just for you two. Something you heard on your first date, or in a movie that you watched together, or heard on TV together, something like that.





Trust me. If I had a better voice, I would sing for my fiancé at our wedding. But, I'm also a little shy when it comes to singing in front of people also, so I wish you luck.

Reply:You definitely want something uptempo. It shows off your skills better in an audtion. Anyone can smooze their way through a ballad. One of my favorite songs to audition with was "I Could've Danced All Night" from My Fair Lady. It's repetative enough so you don't have to worry about getting nervous and forgetting the words. Plus it's fun and energetic and an easy one to act out.
