I'm not absolutely certain but think it may have been his wife, Rita, or son Stephen, both of whom did a great deal to keep his music "alive" after his untimely death at the age of only 36. By then, he'd already had 13 children and was beyond superstar status, compared often to Bob Dylan as both presented a message with their artistry.
