Opinions on our wedding first dance song (songs)....?

I love Adam Sandlers cute quick little love song called "Grow old with you." Although it is far too short for our first dance song only. We are going to have 311 love song (originally by The cure) be our first dance song..which is also short....


So heres the idea Play Adams song first than play love song after. Together equal the total of one song. And why I love the Adam sandler song is it is very funny and cute, it reminds me of my fiance and I...my fiance and I are funny and like to have a good time...

I think 2 songs is a perfect solution. I also think if you like "Grow Old w/You" so much, consider having that engraved in your wedding bands. It would have special meaning to you both and would stand the test of time.

My fiance's first dance song pick is Keith Urban's "Making Memories of Us"





The brides pick (moi) to follow is the *original* "Lovesong" by the Cure. I have loved this song since I was 15, and being a Cure fan, I prefer the original. It's a bit fast, but we'll make it work. :)





Do it! It's so boring to see all the same sappy songs at weddings....

Reply:My fiance and I love that song Grow old with u!! My fiance and I are using that as our cake cutting song. Our DJ actually recommended that we use two "first" dance songs as well. We are having Amazed by Lonestar and If Tomorrow Never Comes by Garth Brooks. During Amazed it will only be my husband and I and then as the second song comes on the bridal party will be invited to dance.
