Do you have to buy all the song for your ipod?

I’m begging my parents for an Ipod, But my dad say that he doesn’t want to get one then find out we have to buy all our songs. We have a lot of songs download on our computer so would those (MP3) song work on an Ipod?

Reply:No you do NOT have to buy ALL of your songs if you have cds you can import them to iTunes

Reply:yeah, all you do, is when you get your iPod, you get an iTunes disk with it, and so you get iTunes, and then you just click, import and then select the file on you computor that the music is in, and then import it!


then plug your iPod in, and there voila!


simple!

but it does take a whil though, but its easy once there all on there!

Reply:I'am not sure about that but ipod come with itunes you can download cd to itunes then to your ipod plus you can use Lime wire get mucis for free and send the songs to your ipod as well go tell pa that maybe that will help you one more thing if you can get one go to the Apple store on line go to the refurbursh section they have ipods their cheaper as well good luck
Reply:Yes and buying songs for your ipod can be very expensive using itunes they charge for every song. There are a few good sites which you can use to download songs and movies for your ipod which don't charge per download you simply join as a member and then you can download all the songs you want free the best site I have found is http://www.ipod-vibez.com/music.html there are some others you can use for a full list of other sites go to http://www.ipod-vibez.com
Reply:you only have to pay for the songs if you download them from itunes..if you want music for free download ares or limewire and transport that to your itunes library
