When in our wedding can we play the song "Accidentally in Love"?

This song, by counting crows, is our best song ever, however, we were a bit unsure when to play it as the style is not the typical wedding type! It's not a song that we could dance to, I think, and probably it's too "loud" for when we arrive, although I'm open to ideas... What do people think?

Have them play it when you enter the reception. I don't think it is too loud. It's a cute song and you want a fun upbeat song to come in to.
Reply:Why not use it as your recessional music. As soon as you are prounouced husband and wife, the song can begin and you and your bridal party can take your leave to it.


I did a wedding where they used the song from the Wedding Singer that Adam Sandler sang (I just cant wait to grow old with you) They used it for their recessional, and it was GREAT! Brought smiles to everyones faces.
Reply:Sure. It is a cute song. and it would be a unique wedding then. :) If the song means a lot to the both of you, then it would be nicer if you'd play it on your wedding day. Maybe you could also explain or share why the song means a lot to you. I bet the visitors would appreciate the song, too.

Reply:Who cares about "typical wedding style", it is YOUR wedding and you want it to reflect your style and tastes, if that song is special to you then it is more than appropriate. We walked down the aisle to Eels "Fresh Feeling" which is so far from being a normal wedding song, but so what, it was what we wanted.
Reply:My HTB and I are using that same song! It's great isn't it? We're actually using it as our "first dance" song. Who cares about a "typical wedding"? Do what you want!

Reply:I think it would be a beautiful song to do your first dance to if you are coordinated and can do the swinging type motions, he dipping you, pulling you in close on the slow parts.





The entrance of the bridal party would be good also because it would hurry everyone in and not lull anyone into trying to "march" into the reception hall.
